1. Practice self-care

Take care of your physical, emotional and mental health by getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and taking time for yourself to relax and recharge.

With our busy schedules, we tend to overlook this.

2. Avoid toxic relationships

Surround yourself with positive and supportive people who lift you up and make you feel good about yourself. Avoid people who are negative, critical, or overly demanding.

You see this primarily with friends and colleagues. Someone who constantly talks about worries and has only negative to say must be avoided.

Never get into a relationship with someone who has more worries than you. You don’t need more baggage than what you already have.

3. Manage stress

Develop healthy ways to manage stress such as meditation, deep breathing, journaling or talking to someone you trust.

4. Set boundaries

Learn to say no and set clear boundaries with others. It’s okay to prioritize your own needs and take a step back from situations that do not serve you well.Parents included.

5. Practice gratitude

Focus on the positive aspects of your life and the things you are grateful for. This can help shift your mindset towards positivity and reduce stress and anxiety.
